Which Path?

path

Do you ever feel like life is pulling you in multiple directions at once?

Maybe you feel called to have a family, but are also pretty sure you want to keep your career, too.  Or perhaps you are deciding between two different job opportunities or fields of study.  Which way should you go?

Sometimes you can definitely rule one option out, but it’s not always that easy.  Often when we decide, for whatever reason, to take the path to the right, we also can’t help but think we are missing something else that was to the left.  It feels like no matter how many good options exist, there simply isn’t time to explore them all.

While it’s not a scientific formula, I think the best decisions are made with clear thought, a strong sense of instinct, and a whole hell of a lot of luck!

I don’t know about you, but I spend way too much time wondering where it is I’m supposed to be going.  I am pulled between motherhood, marriage, career and my own personal development.  Which should take priority and which has to go on the back burner?  It’s enough to bring on an existential crisis!

One of the steps I’ve taken that has been a win-win for me across the board has been training to become a life coach.  I just love it on so many levels!  I very nearly didn’t take the training because it was one of those non-traditional paths that I felt insecure about defending.  But, I’m so glad I finally took the chance and found something really rewarding.

I only took that small leap of faith because I felt the “gut” instinct telling me that it was simply something I should do.

Do you ever feel torn between two paths?

Do you ever feel like something inside is nudging you towards a change?

I hope when that time comes, that you’ll be able to hear your instinct talking to you.  And if you need help, I’m always here to talk you through it.  In the meantime, I’m feeling the winds of change tugging at my sleeve.  I’ll have more to say on this soon…stay tuned!
