I’m still trying to figure out how in the world to manifest more peace. I’m praying, putting positive thoughts out into the universe and trying to learn all I can.
A lovely stroll through the bookstore a few weeks ago brought me to this book, The Anatomy of Peace: Resolving the Heart of Conflict. (Amazon link here.) This book talks about ways to make peace with ourselves and others through self reflection and awareness of how we see the world.
I like this book because it teaches the lesson through a story (I love personal stories!), and the theories are not complicated. Trying to put these ideas into action will take some thinking and some letting go of the ego, but I still think they are do-able.
If you ever wondered how to deal with that difficult person or thorny issue that kept you up a night, this could be a very useful read. I’m glad I found it, and I’m curious to see what else this group, The Arbinger Institute, has to offer.
Just a little more food for thought on this dreary Wednesday!
